Our Team

Marcy Billetter

Since 1995, I have built a broad base of both business and human resources experience in the legal, technology, finance, education and social service industries.  My exposure to both the private and nonprofit sectors has allowed me to build a wealth of knowledge in the similarities, differences and challenges facing different types of organizations.

As a woman of color, I bring a unique set of skills and perspectives to the organizations with whom I partner.  I have worked in prominent law and accounting firms specifically focused on serving the LGBTQIA+ communities. My previous career as a paralegal has given me the critical eye needed to effectively understand risk management and how to interpret and apply law.  My roles in finance and accounting have enabled me to partner effectively with groups in those specialties.  My business operations experience has honed my ability to manage competing priorities that businesses often face.

Whether it is implementing a change that affects the culture of a workforce or asking leaders to approach challenges from multiple perspectives, my goal is to help small organizations be the best versions of themselves and provide practical and strategic expertise when needed.

Before launching my consulting practice in 2021, I spent almost 7 years as the Director of Human Resources for the Alameda County Community Food Bank and nearly 5 years as the Associate Director of Human Resources at a prominent charter school management organization in the San Francisco Bay Area overseeing 8 charter schools dedicated to providing quality education in communities that have been left behind in the economic boom of the San Francisco Bay Area.

As a native San Franciscan and a current Alameda County resident, you can find me attending events (pre-pandemic!) that showcase multicultural diversity, participating in celebrations of the Hawaiian culture, spending hours at small indie bookstores, or out on the water with my husband and son.
